Jonnymoon SW - Day 4 AM - Toews for the Sunshine

So this is now Saturday, Day 4 of the Roadtrip to the Southwest. We packed up in cloudy, cool Augusta, and trekked out North in search of sunshine. We stopped at a few limestone caves along the way, but tours were every hour, and we'd have to wait around for a while for them, so we just kept driving.

This is Hamelin Bay. One of my co-workers had said this was his absolute favourite place in the world. It was very nice, but still lacked the sunshine.

Awwwwww, they look so sad. Laura and JP were not satisfied with Hamelin Bay, so we continued the journey.

Halfway on the drive from cape to cape (Leeuwin to Naturaliste), we stopped at a beach near Margaret River, and for a brief moment I saw my shadow. Thumbs Up. The joy in the car began to increase!

Toews for the Sunshine!!! and the shirt (thanks M&V). We headed up first stopping Yallingup to find a campsite, then we got to Dunsborough, got some lunch, and headed to the beach, any beach, all we knew was we saw SUNSHINE!!!!! There were still a few clouds at this point, but we just lay on the sand and watched as they were moving in all directions. It was like they were Evaporsploding! (I'm copyrighting that word).

That water near the horizon was so mesmerizing. We kept following it up and down the coast. Trying to find that perfect beach. It's also really cool there as you can walk straight out for about 1km and still be only waist deep. So cool.

I think it was at this beach. I had bought a boomerang here my first week, and had not used it the entire time. I was waiting for this one moment. Anyway, JP was in the water about 20 metres away, and yelled, "Here it comes". The boomerang starts on the right course, then rockets up and to the left about 80 metres, and almost beans a couple people. Woops! The boomerang went back in the bag.
